Travertine is the latest material
to hit the British tile market.
It is a banded, compact
variety of limestone and its origin at the base of water-falls and
around hot or cold spring makes it an obvious natural stone tile for
bathrooms and kitchen wet areas.
Travertine tiles are far
less fragile than teracotta, too, so they are now a much more
